Here are three ways to keep your cool during the summer heat wave

Central Air Conditioners

An air conditioner cools your home with a cold indoor coil called the evaporator. The condenser, a hot outdoor coil, releases the collected heat outside. A pump, called the compressor, moves a heat transfer fluid (or refrigerant) between the evaporator and the condenser. The pump forces the refrigerant through the circuit of tubing and fins in the coils.

The liquid refrigerant evaporates in the indoor evaporator coil, pulling heat out of indoor air and thereby cooling your home. The hot refrigerant gas is pumped outdoors into the condenser where it reverts back to a liquid, giving up its heat to the outside air flowing over the condenser's metal tubing and fins.

Ductless Split Air Conditioners are a perfect option for homes or businesses that don’t have ductwork, but need air conditioning. The Indoor unit (evaporator) is mounted inside the room, enclosed in sleek, unobtrusive cabinet. It’s connected to the outdoor unit (condenser) by refrigerant lines and wiring through a very small opening in the wall. Since no ductwork is required, installation is simple, fast and efficient.

The compressor is located in the outdoor unit, so the noise from the compressor running is isolated from the inside your home. The indoor unit is designed to operate quietly, while delivering cool comfort throughout the house.
